Sun & Flowers is an interior design project for a country house originally planned as a rental property. The goal was to create a home that feels romantic, simple and naturally charming, while remaining comfortable and practical for everyday living.

The clients approached us before construction began, which gave us the opportunity to rethink the layout before the house was built. The new plan created an open and well-organised living area with clearly defined zones, comfortable circulation and generous storage. An additional dressing room was also introduced into the bedroom, making better use of the available space.

The interior concept began with a painting called “House by the Sea”, which became the starting point for the atmosphere and visual language of the home. Its sense of simplicity, warmth and connection with nature was translated throughout the interior.

Natural materials play an important role in the design: linen, cotton, wood, rattan and wicker create a warm and tactile atmosphere. The colour palette is soft and natural, allowing the textures and handcrafted details to become part of the overall character.

In the living room, raw wooden slats painted in creamy white add volume, texture and depth to the walls without making the space feel heavy. The bedroom introduces a deeper blue and grass green tones, creating a more intimate atmosphere while maintaining the simplicity of the overall design.

Carefully selected details bring warmth and personality to the interior. A metal bed with flowing lines, wicker lampshades and a hand-painted dresser add softness and a sense of craftsmanship, reinforcing the romantic country-house character.

The result is a light, cosy and welcoming home where natural materials, thoughtful space planning and personal details come together. Although designed as a rental property, the house was created to feel warm, personal and genuinely comfortable to live in.
