A 96 sqm townhouse

Lazur Mountains is a 96 sqm townhouse interior design project created for a modern family with one child. The clients wanted a comfortable and functional home that would reflect their lifestyle, love of nature and passion for travel while maintaining a strong sense of individuality.

The design concept was inspired by the image of an emerald lake surrounded by the Rocky Mountains. This idea was translated into the interior through clean and broken geometric lines, graphic patterns and rich green accents, balanced with warm wood and soft textiles.

The overall interior is built around a contrast of warm and cool tones, creating a dynamic yet harmonious atmosphere throughout the home.

The open-plan first floor was carefully planned around the family’s everyday needs. The kitchen and living area are visually connected while remaining clearly defined. A kitchen island with an integrated dining table separates the kitchen from the living space and can be extended when guests arrive.

Every element of the kitchen layout was carefully considered — from circulation and work zones to storage and everyday functionality. The result is a practical kitchen that works efficiently without compromising the openness of the living area.

In the TV zone, a custom-designed colour block creates a strong visual focal point while providing an elegant way to integrate the television into the interior rather than allowing it to dominate the space.

The second floor continues the visual language established on the first level. In the master bedroom, geometric wallpaper behind the bed creates a distinctive focal point, while natural textiles and warm wood soften the stronger graphic elements.

The children’s room has its own colour palette, chosen to reflect the personality of its young owner while maintaining a visual connection with the rest of the house.

The result is a modern family home that combines functionality, warmth and individuality. From the overall layout to the smallest details, the interior was designed around the family’s lifestyle, emotions and love of nature and travel.

It is a home that feels contemporary and comfortable, while remaining deeply personal to the people who live there.
