OCEAN BREEZE

Ocean Breeze is a 64 sqm two-level apartment in Bucharest, designed as a rental property. The aim was to create a bright, airy and comfortable home that would feel welcoming and easy to live in for a young couple or an individual.

The interior was carefully planned to make the most of the compact footprint while keeping the apartment open, functional and visually light.

On the first level, the kitchen and living area form one connected space. A dining area for four is positioned by the window, taking advantage of the natural light. Two additional folding chairs are discreetly integrated into the kitchen, ready to provide extra seating when guests arrive without taking up everyday space.

The compact kitchen was designed to include everything needed for comfortable everyday living: a refrigerator, dishwasher, water filter, oven, two-burner cooktop and extractor hood. Near the entrance, a small dressing area incorporates the washing machine and provides storage for outerwear and shoes. A guest bathroom completes the first level.

The second level is dedicated to the private area of the apartment. The bedroom features a double bed, uniquely shaped bedside tables, a dedicated workspace and a generous wardrobe area. A full bathroom completes the upper floor.

The colour palette combines soft blue, white and sandy tones, creating a calm and enveloping atmosphere. Natural materials such as wood, rattan and textiles add warmth and tactility, while wooden blinds filter the daylight and create a gentle interplay of light and shadow.

Particular attention was given to storage and functionality. Everyday elements were integrated into the design so that the apartment could remain uncluttered and comfortable despite its compact size.

The result is a functional rental apartment with a warm and welcoming character — a bright, calm and thoughtfully designed home created for comfortable everyday living.
